Editorial Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026. This page explains how Yardlie creates and maintains its guides, so readers and reviewers can judge our work.

Originality

All guides are written originally for Yardlie. We do not copy, spin or paraphrase other sites, and we do not publish duplicate or near-duplicate articles. Where a common guideline is widely used (for example, a typical mowing height or seed rate), we present it as a guideline, not as our own research.

No invented claims

We do not invent statistics, studies, quotes, awards, certifications, reviews or testimonials, and we do not claim author credentials we do not hold. If a number is a guideline, we say so.

Accuracy and updates

Guides are checked before publication for clear step order, realistic quantities and safety notes. When advice changes or a reader reports an error, we correct the guide and the “updated” date changes. Corrections are welcome via our contact page.

Independence and money

We have no affiliate links and no sponsored content. Products are described generically, without brand claims or “buy now” pressure. If we ever accept advertising (Google AdSense after approval), advertising will be clearly separate from editorial content and will not influence what we recommend.

What we do not publish

We do not publish medical, financial, gambling, adult, violent, hateful, pirated, weapon or drug content, clickbait, keyword-stuffed pages, hidden text or doorway pages. We do not publish dangerous instructions for chemicals, electricity, tree felling or structural work.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email hello@yardlie.store with the page URL and the correction. We will fix verified errors promptly.
